Map server / Web services
.NWith the aid of map servers, geoscientific map data and georeferenced information can be visualized by means of web services. These can also be integrated into your own applications and GIS products. In particular, interoperable services such as WMS (Web Map Services) come into consideration.
Currently, geoscientific map works from the following topics are involved:
Soil science, geology, geophysics, hydrogeology, engineering geology, raw materials.
Interactive map application (interdisciplinary)
The interactive map application serves as a viewing tool for nationwide geoscientific maps of the Bundesanstalt für Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe (BGR) and the State Geological Surveys (SGD). This includes, in particular, overview map works such as the geological overview map Geological Map of Germany 1 : 1 000 000 (GK1000), the General Geological Map of the Federal Republic of Germany 1 : 250 000 (GÜK250), the Hydrogeological Map of Germany 1 : 250 000 (HÜK250) and the Soil Map of Germany at scale 1:250,000 (BÜK250) and smaller scale (BÜK1000, …).
